ECSTATIC DANCE – A Sacred Movement Journey
Our intention with these intimate sessions is to move deeper — into the body, into the breath, and into the shared pulse of the collective field. Here, dance becomes more than expression; it becomes meditation, self-inquiry, and connection.
We explore the space between forms, between dancers — where play meets presence, and stillness births rhythm.
Across ancient cultures, in shamanic and mystical traditions, ecstatic dance has long been a gateway to altered states of awareness — a spiritual practice woven with drumming, breath, and movement. From temple floors to forest clearings, the body has always known how to pray without words.
Today, we return to this wisdom.
Ecstatic dance is a space to feel fully — to move through grief, joy, resistance, release. A ritual of emotional alchemy, it can bring clarity, calm, and a deeper sense of wellbeing. You don’t need to feel a certain way to come — not happy, not ‘in the mood.’ Simply arrive, as you are. That is more than enough.
🕊️ The dance journey lasts 90 minutes, followed by a gentle integration space — a sonic cradle of restorative electronic sound designed to help your body, mind, and soul recalibrate in stillness.

Bringing decades of global experience, Juanito Azul (also known as legendary DJ Johnny Blue) creates sonic ceremonies that awaken, elevate, and connect. His musical storytelling blends the ancestral with the futuristic — a dancefloor offering of colour, depth, and joy.
For this gathering, he will guide us through the portal of sacred sound with heart-opening frequencies and rhythmic spells that awaken both stillness and fire.

Dance with presence – no phones, no alcohol, no substances, no cameras.
Dance barefoot – to connect with the ground and your natural rhythm.
Dance without words – the body is the voice; silence deepens the collective field.
Dance with respect – honour your space and others'. Move alone or with consent.
